Patrick Giles aka HiRO?

Australian born Patrick Giles first began experimenting with electronic music at the age of 19, manipulating organic sounds such as children singing and his own self-taught didgeridoo through recorded tracks. Patrick quickly gained recognition by winning the Western Australian Music Industry Association (WAMIA) 2001 State Prize in the Electric Category. Patrick, who is also known by his gender-questioning DJ handle “Hiro?” – has soared to celebrity in Australia, and now South Beach, Miami, as a DJ, producer and composer, winning industry awards for both his music composition and production. In 2004 Patrick started his own Independent Record Label called Sensei Sound with the tag line “music to cut edges.”
